British Independent Civilian Army is looking for volunteers that reside in UK Mainland that will be able to assist at the call when required. Training, Uniform and Equipment will be given free of charge. All volunteers will be trained in the following and when training completed may be tasked with:

  • Search and Rescue (Air, Land and Water)
  • Evacuations
  • Disaster Response
  • Special Reconnaissance
  • Missing Persons Search
  • Medical Response
  • Assisting Law Enforcement
  • Assisting Members of Public
  • Assisting Intelligence Services
  • Supporting the Homeless
  • Supporting Victims of Crime
  • Supporting Mental Health
  • Supporting the Elderly and Vulnerable
  • Supporting Veterans
  • Community Projects
  • Training consists of reading, writing, video training and practical training once the theory part has been completed for knowledge before practical training can begin, the theory training will prepare the Cadet for what the practical training will involve. Practical training will not go ahead without completing the theory part training.

    British Independent Civilian Army welcomes both genders Male and Female but must be aged 16+ and live in UK Mainland, You do not need to drive or hold a driving licence to join as public transport can be used (we do not cover travel costs). Becoming a volunteer with us does not affect benefits as its voluntary, however, you must be fit enough as you will be undertaking physical training and then undertaking operations once training is complete, Cadets that fail any physical training will not be permitted to continue.
